THE FLAME WITHIN...

You never stop learning & developing,

There’s always a wick within you that glows, even when you think you are flickering.               

                It keeps you, from turning mundane,

                To a person who has a mind, lively and sane.

 It is of different types, having varied characteristics,

Jazzy and loud, serene and composed, opulent and swanky, literary and scholastic.

               It may be ingenious, it may be latent,

              Either way, it’s better than being quiescent.

Some use it to avoid being a mess, some to release their energy that was stressed,

Some use it to speak out, which was in their sub-conscious mind, compressed.

              You may doubt its development, wonder whether you are in this field a misfit,

             Trust me, if it’s meant to be your part,

             Things will happen, which will whirlwind you across the orbit.

It can pop up anytime, you just need to show interest,

A hobby is one, which doesn’t require constant effort to invest.

            Instigate yourself to explore it, you’ll find persons,

            Who will propel you to pursue it, & broaden your horizons.

Keep it alive, do not let it extinguish,

You have the flame within you, all you need, is a gentle push.

Here is a story, I narrate, Sure of which I am, many of you relate.         Fondly I remember, of a childhood I had,             Where we had cognitive development, sans an IPad. Psychomotor skills, were developed naturally, Sadly which are now, imposed forcefully.               Pe aceful and calm, were our composure,            Contrary to what we face today, constant pressure. Memories were recorded, in diary and slambook, As opposed to today, where we store them on Facebook.             There is a huge difference, between now and then,            The present day, that’s losing connection with pen. Carefree were those days, happy too, A story which could be unbelievable, to the generation new.

There is something which very beautifully spreads, Let me clarify it’s not the one on your slice of bread.                  There are different shades from the palette range,          Subtle hues of blue, purple, yellow and orange. Lot of us miss out on witnessing this sight, Except the ones who toil from dawn to night.         There’s a saying which we know I would like to in this comprise,         Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. Waiting to see it in its full glory when in a hurry may seem an eternity, But when having ample leisure time, it spreads as fast as the power of gravity.              Do try to see this, God’s masterpiece,             This   picturesque,   just before the sun shows its face.
