THE FLAME WITHIN...

You never stop learning & developing, There’s always a wick within you that glows, even when you think you are flickering.                                   It keeps you, from turning mundane,                 To a person who has a mind, lively and sane.   It is of different types, having varied characteristics, Jazzy and loud, serene and composed, opulent and swanky, literary and scholastic.                It may be ingenious, it may be latent,               Either way, it’s better than being quiescent. Some use it to avoid being a mess, some to release their energy that was stressed, Some use it to speak out, which was in their sub-conscious mind, compressed.               You may doubt its development, wonder whether you are in this field a misfit,               Trust me, if it’s meant to be your part,               Things will happen, which will whirlwind you across the orbit. It can pop up anytime, you just need to show interest, A hobby is one,

A SERENE TRIP...

We have been trapped, in a lot of chaos, We’re constantly surrounded by, new gadgets and sciences.. We are always on a run, trying to grab all opportunities, Often unable to handle everything, shuffling all priorities.. Madam Maria Montessori too stressed, on a no fairy-tale principle, For real life is harsh too, not always supple.. What then, do you do to detox yourself? For unfortunately, we do not have any magical elf… Being able to detach oneself from all these, A distant dream often remains… Thoughts of taking a break occasionally linger around, raising the level of temptation, Obstructing the work, which lure with hikes and promotion.. Nonetheless, with determination do travel to another shore, Which will awaken your aesthetic side, appreciate nature all the more… Once a while, lose yourself to the silence, To discover a new insight, which may add to your radiance!

A TRIBAL'S LIFE!

How do you think, a teacher’s tribe was born, Unaware we are, nonetheless no martyr we mourn. She possesses the wonder of ten heads working at a time, Tending to answer the queries of curious minds, with an attitude as rime. All of her tribe are experts at doing everything efficiently and ranking as one, Save some novices, who may be jack of all, master of none. Her hands reach out to the four extremes of behaviours of her students, At times eight, to coax and convince pestering parents. The whole of her dedicates, to the well-being of her students to be rightly led, By the mercy of the Saviour, on the cross whose heart bled.

REWIND, PAUSE…PLAY!

Here is a story, I narrate, Sure of which I am, many of you relate.         Fondly I remember, of a childhood I had,             Where we had cognitive development, sans an IPad. Psychomotor skills, were developed naturally, Sadly which are now, imposed forcefully.               Pe aceful and calm, were our composure,            Contrary to what we face today, constant pressure. Memories were recorded, in diary and slambook, As opposed to today, where we store them on Facebook.             There is a huge difference, between now and then,            The present day, that’s losing connection with pen. Carefree were those days, happy too, A story which could be unbelievable, to the generation new.

ISSUED IN PUBLIC INTEREST!

CORRUPTION – The minute we hear this word, we are reminded of the politicians flooding our television screens, red-tapism in government offices and entire schema we can associate with it. This also encourages nepotism, where half-hearted or uninterested wards are pushed into the field by their preceedors, the working of which they have limited or no knowledge, which is tampered with as per vested interests and idiotic decisions which invariably has adverse effects on the common man. Corruption has become so common in our lives that it can be compared to mangoes being available in winter. So how did this come into being? Who has spear-headed this practice? No one knows! This slow poison destroys the lives of many; a lot of deserving candidates’ opportunities, many financially weak families who cannot afford to satisfy the whims and fancies of corrupt bureaucrats, the list is endless. Why does it still exist? Its nature of encompassing and dominating lives, offering te

A UNIVERSAL STORY – WITH A TWIST!

I’m sure most of you must have come across this story on Facebook or some other social media. Let’s revisit it. A daughter goes to her mother all unhappy and sad with the present situation in her life. She tells her woes to her mother, who, in turn, boils 3 pots of water and puts in carrots, eggs and coffee beans in each of the pot. They wait for some time; the daughter gets restless but her mother pacifies her and asks to wait. After a few more minutes, the mother turns off the flames and fishes out the carrots and eggs. She asks her daughter to describe about the carrots turning soft and eggs turning hard. She shows the pot of coffee and asks her to describe that too whereupon the daughter says that the beans have released an aroma. The story concludes by the mother explaining about the reactions of 3 different things facing the same situation. She emphasizes on the reaction of the coffee beans and asks her daughter to have patience till the unfavourable phase passes a

THY NAME ART..."TEACHER"!

They say, “Teaching is a noble profession”, Irrespective of whichever nation.         Many don’t know, what goes into the making,       Of a teacher, who tries to hold everything, from   breaking. Understanding, adorable, hardwork, perseverance, They ain’t just words, but elements of a furnace.       Where individuals are melted, conditioned and mould,       To teachers, who may be metaphored as gold. They are made to be, like iron and steel, Impossible to break, but sensitive enough to feel.       Important it is, to carve a niche for oneself,       In every small heart, a unique shelf.
